    Under the radar Dark Horses
Wisconsin-sure, they sucked pretty hard at times this year but they can play defense and Bo Ryan is canny if not brilliant. They have some good veterans who have been here before. I dont think they are deep enough to go really far but Sweet Sixteen is not out of the question.

Villanova-good coach, good defense, solid team, home advantage playing in Philly if they make it past the first round. Reynolds and Stokes can reign down the 3's and if they get hot they could be a force.

Washington-these guys are my darkhorse pick to make the Elite 8 and possibly the final 4 this year. If Isiah Thomas can handle the pressure and Dentmon shoots well, they will be a force. Brockman is a monster on the boards and they are well coached.

I have Wisconsin winning their first game. Also, I am not sure you could categorize a 3-seed (Nova) and a 4-seed (Wash) as a darkhorse.

I guess darkhorse might be the wrong word. I am talking about teams that arent getting alot of hype, that I am not hearing alot of chatter regarding, that can advance pretty far. Lets call them my elite 8 darkhorses. Nobody really expects Wisconsin or Washington to advance far in their brackets, I see these teams as having the potential to bust up their brackets. Villanova is not getting alot of play either but they are capable of beating Pitt on any given night, and I think they can handle a matchup with UCLA.
