That has to be the worst coaching I've seen in a long time. You'd think he would have at least tried to double team him while he single-handedly erased a 22' lead. There was a stretch where he made 31 of Tech's 33 points. What's the worst thing that could have happened if they double-teamed him? Someone else score??? By the time he's put up 40 surely Turgeon had realized that they sure as hell weren't going to stop him one on one.

The only way they eventually did stop him was by committing desperation fouls on his teammates at the end. One of them was an 82% FT shooter and the announcer said the other one had missed only four FT's all year. Oh and another thing-somehow Tech opponents limited this "second coming of Michael Jordan" to only 11ppg over the regular season.

A&M should be kept out of the big dance just because their coach is a dumbass.
