Definitely not too good to be true if the public is all over Gtown. I like St Johns myself, but you have to realize that NYC has become completely apathetic to St. Johns basketball. I was at the Cuse/St. Johns game a few weeks back and I'd say it was about 80% Cuse fans in the Garden.

Interesting information esz. Thought there might be a home advantage angle here with St.John's. Do you think people will come out today to cheer for the Johnnies?
Personally I like Georgetown 1H, Johnnies 2nd half, I think they can outrun Georgetown and fatigue them a bit and keep it close.

The Big East tourny is being held at Madison Square Garden, where, SJU hosts their home games.

SJU beat GTWN just recently. I believe they're 1-1

The winner of this one plays MARQ

I think SJU +250 has value.

Either way I like the under first half.

Personally I expect the Garden to be pretty dead for this opening session. People are working and it's hard to imagine a lot of them wanting to come out and see what would generally be viewed as a couple of garbage games. Best case scenario, half the fans will be pulling for St Johns. There are a ton of Gtown alumni in the city so I really don't think there will be much of an advantage from a homecourt perspective other than familiarity with the court for the Johnnies

i dont think st johns is a good play just because of msg
                      more because g-town is garbage
not saying st johns is better
but seems like g-town shouldnt be laying 7 to anybody
i think +7 for st johns could be a play if game was at g-town
