Tarheels regain No. 1 ranking in ESPN/USAToday Coaches poll

On Monday, North Carolina regained the No. 1 ranking in the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll. The Tar Heels, whose 79-71 win over the Blue Devils secured the ACC regular-season title and top seed in the conference tournament, had been tops the preseason and for the first seven weeks of the regular season.

With good merit. This is the best team in college basketball.

They are the best team in basketball but will that translate into a National Championship? Are they dominant enough to run the table? I think we will see the answer on Selection Sunday when the brackets come out-if they have an easy bracket and good matchups they win easily, their only real competition IMHO coming from Pitt and possibly UConn. Since neither of these teams will be in their bracket, only a world shaking shock win will keep them from winning this year.
