I have another play that is better than akron and northern Illinois. I like Denver +4 1st half. Denver is playing at Arkansas Little Rock. ALR dismissed their leading scorer, Steven Moore, who was averaging 13.6 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 3.2 apg. Moore scored 18 points in the only matchup between the two teams on Feb 7, 2009. The first half score of the game was 26-24 ALR and ALR won the game 66-57.

like Akron 1H +2. this is rivalry game and Akron is tough 1H team this season, esp on road. Kent has had some nice home 1Hs against the dregs of the MAC, but against the decent teams, it seems like you'd be best taking the points.

was initially thinking about Bama 1H +6.5 and/or 1H under in that game, but don't think that i want to mess with Tennessee on Senior Day after how good they looked at South Carolina the other night. think that i'm calling that noon game a no-play on all levels, though the 1H under initially jumped out at me.

for NIU/Toledo game, i have Toledo winning 66-64. i like Akron 1H +2 better than NIU 1H +2.5, primarily because the latter involves two terrible teams on Senior Day and could be more unpredictable. this is the last realistic chance that Toledo has for a W, and my fear is that they will come out focused against an opponent that won't come play given that they've failed to show up for a number of games this year.

st louis and hawaii screwed me over.. should have left when we hit the xavier over 1h. i'm with you on the arkon 1h and i also took bama und 72. we shall see about that one. i really wanted to take bama for the game, but they can really play terrible bball in the 2H. once i get to 4500.00 i'm done until tuesday. good luck today. hope you go 7-1 again. that's good stuff

hoop_guru whats upp. i was taking a look at denver seems pretty good they match up good against arkl on top of that arkl is missing like u said one of there top scorers who last match up scored a combined 18 points i see denver taking this one 1st half

nice call on that Ark/Tenn 1H under, profit. i liked that one when i first looked at it, but backed off due to memory of Tenn scoring at will at SC the other night. good call. it's early but wondering if 2H Bama or under might be worth a look.

akron +3 is the 2nd half play. Torontoball right now its lean. I am not on it 100%. I think I may change my mind. I like akron in the 21nd half. Akron is going to win 20th game of the season.

i like the 1H under in Ohio U/Bowling Green (58). this is a low number, but in order for it to go over, one of the two teams has to reach 30 in the 1H, and i don't think that either will. MAC games are slugfests this time of year, and the officially really let the guys play. think of it as the opposite of hoop_guru's tv game theory: if more fouls are called when i game is more broadly televised, what happens when no one is watching? i see BGSU leading 26-24 at halftime.

not playing big if only b/c of relatively low number [usually avoid 1H under below 60]. playing this same as VA Tech 1H.

thanks, eatdust. you do nice work with totals, so i'm glad to see that we're on the same side of this.

do you have any read on MTSU/N Texas under, either 1H (68.5) or game (145.5)? seems like a regular season number for a conference game. when these two teams met in conf tourney two years ago, game barely broke 110. i know that we have to take results from 2 years ago with a grain of salt, but it stands to reason that this will be played at slower pace than N Texas regular season games, which were high-scoring.

hoop, do you have any thoughts on MTSU/N Texas 1H under 68.5?

The MTSU and North Texas game is an interesting one... if I had to take an under I'd rather be on the under in the first half... if you look at the matchups between these two before there have been an outrageous amount of fouls, which makes me a little worried... I'm staying off the total in that one... but the first half under might be a decent bet.
