I calculated that based on the average plays I make, $100 win bets (meaning betting to win $100) takes me 12-13 games to reach $1000 profit with single game betting. With parlays of course, it wouldn't take quite as many wins. Today, I lost about $500 going 4-1 (bet on Dayton, Iona, Delaware, Missouri State and UMASS...won the first four and lost the last one). Usually I can take a loss and be still break even or walk away with a little...but not when a -750 favorite loses. This is pretty high stakes for most people...but I really manage the risk with my betting rules. If I didn't win at a fairly high rate...I would be broke! Getting parlay would have been nice, but I had UMASS my 3 team parlay with Delaware and Missouri State.

Yeah, I went 4-1...lost my ass with UMASS like everyone else (at least I didn't get burned like so many with GW). For tomorrow, I plan on playing UTEP, Portland, W. Kentucky, Murray St. and IPFW as single ML bets. Not sure which I will put in a parlay yet.

Well that didnt taste well and as far as Denver went was just a bad game played a team 0-9 in conference so oh well it happens. Plenty of road favorites win also including the other one in this parlay but point well taken. We are now up 6829.00

LOL. Do your thing REAP, don't let us scare you. I've spot played a few of your parlays, but never come out on top when there is a huge road fav on the card. (I've won too, don't get me wrong!) I usually sub them out with someone else. I just use the same ruleset and structure as FTG, home court advantage is a BIG advantage in NCAAB, and I try to stick to bigger home favs (but they can lose, to).

Thankfully Friday is behind us....mainly because of Ivy league games. I won't say they are fixed...but they are strangely officiated. I was on another Yale game a few Friday's back and there were 58 fouls called....and nobody on Yale (the home team) fouled out. My stats suggest Monday, Sunday, and Saturday are the best days to bet home favs.
