My Big XII Plays:
(WIN) Kansas -12 vs Nebraska (Originally Posted on CK's NBA thread #97)
Kansas is dominate at home and has far superior athletes than Nebraska. Against the other top teams in the Big XII on the road they lost at Mizzou by 23 and Oklahoma by 9. In the Oklahoma game he Sooners came out flat and dominated the Huskers 40-23 in the 2nd half. I like Kansas big.
(WIN) Texas A&M -1.5 @ Texas Tech
I know A&M has not played up to expectations this year, but the bottom line is that in this game T-Tech is just terrible. They are 2-10 in their last 12 games with the losses coming by an average of 11.5 points.
(PUSH) Kansas St -4 @ Iowa St.
I think the book makers made a mistake with this line. It should be closer to double digits. Iowa St. is another team that is just plain bad. In their last 11 they are 2-9. Believe it or not K-State has pushed themselves into a March Madness team. They are the 4th best team in the Big XII and I think they hammer Iowa St.
(LOSS) Oklahoma +1 @ Texas
Texas will be amped up for this game but it won't do any good. They are 2-4 in their last 6 and were forced to OT with a terrible Colorado team. On the other hand, Oklahoma is playing a little better with each game. They are actually playing like a #1 seed should. Anytime the best player on the court is getting points you should play them. Same goes for NBA with players like Kobe and Bron-Bron.
