I just opened up the website to the greek. I am not sure yet. I should wait and analyze games and wager on the 2nd halfs. Its been going really good on the 2nd halfs for the last 3 days. I am starting to get a good feel about 2nd half spreads. Last night I really loaded upon weber st in the 2nd half.

hoop, knew i shoulda checked in earlier. took night off and played some actual hoops. ivy 1H over play butter and VCU 1H heavy cashed (VCU was the one team i liked today, but ended up laying off). gl rest of way with VCU 2H. beginning preps for bracket buster saturday. should be some great opportunities to find value when teams step out of conference like this.

seemed like they didn't get a single stop down the stretch. glancing through box since i arrived late, VCU must've had a pretty bad 2H with turnovers. technical and lack of defense didn't help.

any early thoughts for saturday? huge slate. will probably focus at start on slowdown teams (<55 shots/gm).

I like Iona +2.5 (h) against an undermanned BOston U. Iona plays in a tougher conference.

I also like Buffalo +3 (h) against vermont. This game does not mean much to vermont because its out of coference. Vermont needs to win its conference games. This game probably means more to buffalo. Buffalo played UCON very tough earlier in the season.

I like Buffalo better than Iona. Strictly by the numbers, I don't like either of those dogs to back them for the game, though I agree with the motivational angle re: Buffalo/Vermont. I have BU, 65-61, and Vermont, 71-66, so both dogs barely covering. Other than their bedcrappery vs BG the other night, Buffalo has been a pretty decent 1H team. My concern there is that Buffalo's play has declined of late and Vermont is a good 1H team in its own right (although against lesser teams). Buffalo's primary statistical edges in this game are on the boards and overall defense, and they don't have a lot of offense to match Vermont if UVM starts hot offensively. Will strongly consider Buffalo 1H.

Although Iona plays in a tougher conf than BU, the strength of schedule equalizer that I use indicates that the overall SOS disparity between these 2 teams is probably worth about 1 point. BU holds a number of moderate statistical edges here, and has a big disparity in 3-point differential. Iona has had some pretty crappy 1Hs where they haven't shown up this season. I'm lukewarm to this one and probably would've passed right over it if your post hadn't caused me to consider it more closely.
