Maryland -3 (A bunch of WTFs when this line came out. Seems like VTech should be the play.)

Kansas St. +1.5 (KU has been playing well and won by 16 earlier in this matchup.)

whats your theory for contrarian plays? is it that the lines that don't make sense are on purpose with some hidden information or something?

I think that's a part of it. Also the natural ups and downs in a season occur and the lines just tend to indicate what has happened and not what's going to happen. Betting on teams that have been hot seems a lot like investing in stocks at their highs.
