Nova has been smoking hot lately, but two of their last three games were at home, and the other game was against a horrible defense (Providence).

Now Nova travels to Morgantown where they are 0-3 in their last three attempts. Nova is that fat and happy cat right now, cocky and assured. They'll come into Morgantown over-confident. But the Mountaineers are HUNGRY. They need a quality win to get into the NCCA tourney, and Villanova fits that bill. Villanova is the meat dangling over the nose of a starved and scrappy dog. CHOMP!

Looking at Villanova's last five road games compared to West Virginia's last five home games...Villanova PF/PA is 82/81. WVU's PF/PA is 69/62. Take the net result, factor in the SOS (for Nova it's 60, for WVU it's 59...edge to WVU) and you get WVU winning this game by six points.

Simply put, VILLANOVA IS UNPROVEN AGAINST A QUALITY OPPONENT ON THE ROAD. Especially against a defense as strong as WVU. In fact, WVU probably has the best defense in the Big East. Morgantown will be fired up, Nova WILL BE over-confident, WVU should win this game by four points or more.

If you're on WVU to cover the game, playing the 2H doesn't make sense. You already have a better than 80% to win the game, why get greedy? I won't play the 2H. WVU could let up in the 2H.

Based upon what I have seen in the past, I would not be surprised if Iona, Hofstra, Manhattan, and Nevada engage in point-shaving. Sadly, I have played all of those teams at various times.
