ACC Plays 2/11

Went 2-0 last night, which brings me to 13-5 on posted ACC plays here on SBR. Got three plays tonight.


UNC -1.5- I have posted a lot about this game, seems like the best play in the ACC tonight for me.


Under UNC first half 75- So much hype in a game like this, usually teams come out a bit nervous for the first 10 minutes. Duke will definitley have a game plan of slowing the tempo, eating the clock on offense and playing sound man to man. 75 seems pretty high for a rival game.


Two team parley- Over in VT 138.5 and over in Wake 146. VT plays very fast at home, usually pusing the tempo. GT hasent played great on offense but VT has been known to let down when they go up big.

ACC i won a total of $500 last night on a parlay, Mich State game and Providence game. Im thinking of putting $300 down for UNC and moving it up to -1 just incase they win by 1. Would you do more or less? I have a bankroll of about $1700 and started with $100 just a few weeks ago. I think this is a very good bet but who knows...I also feel that it will be under 75 the first half as well

Nice job, 1700 from 100, impressive. I think its taken you a few weeks to build up a good solid bank roll you dont want to lose a lot of it on one bet. 300 is a good play, but dont buy the hook, its not worth the 10 percent. I never buy points, overall in the long run you pay much more than you win. 1.5 is a good line, i dont think it will be close. GL!!

congrats to those who picked UNC, amazing shooting by Duke in the first half but UNC too much for them. Another solid day, hit the parley and UNC but lose the UNC under (at least it wasent a heartbreaker). 15-6 now on ACC plays. will post my acc play tomorrow morning.

i picked UNC as well. good day. made 1200 in past 3 nights. up to 2,000 from 100 bucks.

what games did u take for the parlay? and how much did u make if u dont mind me askin?

ticon, when u started at 100 how much were you betting?

arod- when i started at 100 i bet the 100 because i wanted more money to play with for the super bowl but didnt want to put any more in. therefore, i risked the 100 on sidney crosby total of points over 1.5 and won. It was against the Leafs on CBC telecast so figured he would have big night. He did worse than I thought but i lucked out. I then used the 200 and divided it out for the Super Bowl. most of the money was on arizona +6.5 while a few bucks were on mvp and what not. I did good for the Super Bowl and kept playing. Ive learned its about being smart. I would have more if i was smarter with my picks. I feel that you should always check out the games in ncaa and bball hoops for that day and go with your gut. The other night i felt that mich st would beat mich handily and the line was only -4 which seemed low to me. I was right. Tonight I felt a good play in UNC and the line was only -2!!! Wow what a gift and it even moved to -1.5 before moving back to -2. So its all about money management ive learned. Hope this helps

arod- told you my BG boys would come through by atleast 5 or more(right on with 5 ha). did you use that as one of your parlays along with oklahoma and unc?

yah thanks, the reason i ask is cuz i won alot on unc tonite so i took everything out but i left 100, and i was wondering wat percent i should be betting

nah i had them with okla and freakin drake, i shoulda went with my gut and took stl

smart move. bet whatever percent makes you feel comfortable. last night i was tempted to bet a lot more on UNC than the 300 i put down. i should of but if i did maybe they would have lost or won by 1 who knows. id say bet at 10% max but then again i dont some of the time and its totally up to you. again, if you dont have a lot of bankroll that could make one want to spend more
