Contrarian Radar

Good morning ladies and gentlemen in contrarian land. We wake up on Sunday after having 5-2 outing yesterday, with a rare ML play that cashed with New Mexico State.

Today, we start out with three games on the radar screen. A couple of totals and one side.

Alabama/LSU Under
Virginia Tech
Sacramento State/Portland State Under

Contrarian indicators are in place, awaiting line confirmation as the day develops.

We continue today after a fabulous Saturday with Virginia Tech, who gets the contrarian selection today against a good looking NC State, who appears to be strong in its head to head matchup data. Sharps will hit this one hard.

I kinda like this play, but kinda don't. I follow the Pack closely (went to college there) and we r so tough to predict. We have played VT really well the past couple of years (when we were terrible). I know VT is a better team, but it depends on our perimeter play. If we shoot well from the perimeter (and we can), we keep this game close. If not, we lose by 10+. I kinda like the over 135. What do you think about the total??

135 for an ACC game seems kinda low. I think this game goes over. State can put some points on the board. I like VT -4 1st half and over the total 135.

The ACC has been hard to bet this year a lot of dogs have covered or just flat won straight up. I'm taking the over and NC State +7 1/2. I think I might throw a little money on the +300 ml too

Careful. State isn't a good road team. They can cover. But I don't see a win. Our best road games were at Fla (lost by 2, should've won) and Davidson (lost by 6 I think). The hokies are more physical, so it depends on our outside shooting. Need Mays and Fells to have a good shooting day to cover. Like the over more and more.

Va Tech comes up short in OT to go in the loss column. They surely gave us a run for the money. Their inability to get out of the starting gate, going down 14 at the half was no match for the -7.5 points.

Anyway, nice recovery Sir. Keep it going.

The Wynn poker room called me. It seems that there are some players there who are willing to stake you $500 just to get you to sit down at the $1/$3 game for a minimum of 7 hours.

Any idea why there so hungry for you to sit?
