I have a strong total play for the first half. I like Setan Hall/Rutgers to stay under 66. Just take a look at the last games and how the first halfs ended in those games. In a game on 1/30/08, Setan Hall played at Rutgers and led 35-26 at half. These two played again on 3/9/08 at Setan Hall. Setan Hall led that game 34-23 at the half. In a game this season (1/29/09), Rutgers played at Setan Hall. In that game, Setan Hall led at the half 27-26.
Rutgers has been unable to score more than 26 points in the first half of its last 3 meetings against Setan Hall. Rutgers really likes to slow down the game especially when they are playing at home. Rutgers is a very poor free throw shooting team. This total of 66 for the first half is very high for these two teams. My prediction is that the half is going to stay under 60 as it has in most of Rutgers games this season. ANyone have some insght on this going under 66 in the first half.
