Newbie - Seeking Some Basic Advice

Hi All,
Have been a silent bystander for the last 3 weeks or so and have benefitted from some of the great picks posted here - ( Obamamania / LTProfits to name 2 - Thanks guys) Last night was my first CK Secret play and !!! but I have seen the loyalty in the camp and so persevere.
My wanting to take today's Secret Play - Davidson -12 1h haslead to me posting here for some basic advice

I live in Germany and so find it practically impossible to find a good online sportsbook where I can have complete control of my bets - as needed for the CK picks (buying points, NCAA half time spreads etc)

Can someone maybe suggest a good online sportsbook to me? BTW - Bet365 will not allow me to bet because I live in Germany

Any help would be appreciated now as I will be hitting the hay soon and would like to be able to get on that CK Secret Play before I do

www.BetUS.com has Davidson 1H (-12) at -115. no idea if you can use it in Germany or not, but if you can, they have the wager you're trying to find. also, btw, they allow all manner of point buying/adjustment, at least for full-game wagers.

Thanks Man but I Just checked and I cannot get my money posted back to my credit card account with BetUS - there's no way I'm waiting 7 days for a check each time I want to withdraw..

They also require verification by Fax / Post etc.
Any others?

Unfortunately, that's the only book i use right now [hardly a vet move, i know]. I'd like to help further, but I'd just be guessing. Hope that you can work something out.

Now for the ultimate advice!!!.............do not follow anyone on here except for CK, Machine choice, LTprofits (Better in other sports but non the less a good capper) and Tblueeyes.

DO NOT......I repeat DO NOT take any of Peach dogs ALERT ALERT ALERT play.....he sucks and only give crappy advise!

The advice given so far is very bad. Peach is very good at selections, as long as you play them with good money management practices. No bet should be larger than 5% of your bank roll.

For books, I recommend TheGreek and 5Dimes.

BTW, Secret Plays were 2-0 tonight, anyway parlay that for some real fun?

This is idiotic advice.

First of all, you should look over anyone's picks you feel would help you and use their picks to guide your own, you shouldnt be blindly tailing anyone.

Secondly, its a better idea to tail cappers who have won consistently over a longer period of time. Hitting 70% one month is useless if youre hitting 30% the next. TPowell, WestsidePete are solid longterm cappers.

As for Peach other than the possibly annoying thread titles I dont see how hes any worse than anyone else you said was good. Hes posted his betting slips to show you his wins and the amount hes putting down. Thats hard to argue with. When you're dropping several thousand dollars a game and backing it up you can talk some more.

Thanks everyone for the advice - I already have my own ideas of who I should / shouldn't take heed of but the tips are gratefully accepted.

To be honest, how someone posts a tip etc is irrelevant to me although I can understand it maybe enticing a new member to lump on the ALERT tips but If Peachdog is hitting the numbers as he has been in the last couple of ALERTS then he's someone that will get my attention.

Some good points DrStale but also remember just because someone bets larger amounts does not make them a better handicapper...the picks do that...
