2/04 officially picking wake forest to win
i already played the overnight spread on wake at -.5 and -1 respectively last night. I wanted to post an official thread on my pick, just in case anyone who has been following my picks over the last week wanted to know what i am betting on today. i am risking about 12.5 units on this play to win about 9 units. I am about 2% sure that tis play will cover. if this play were not to cover, it would be a big blow to my winnings of last week up until today. but, i could live with it, because i still have a decent bankroll of 20 units left.
when i first saw this line last night, i thought this must be some sort of weird trap.I capped the game and everything seeemed to be in order, so i played it. Throughout today, the lines has been fluctuating up and down and people were starting to believe that miami was actually going to win this game. during the day, i was starting to have serious doubts that this play will actually pan out.
this game seems to be a cointoss.
here are some of the advantages and disadvantages that i see in this matchup.also, here are some thing s that each team has to do to win this game
miami- shoot the three very well, smaller players than wake forest, have problems with tall dominant paint men. very competitive versus ranked teams, are at home, good jumpshooting team, scrappy at home, was ranked earlier this season
wake forest- nationally televised game, size advantage over miami, have a 7 footer, very athletic, decent midrange game, can not be considered a jumpshooting team, can only win if they pound the ball inside and get scoring from other people in addition to teague, bad 3 point shooting team. good 3 point defensive team.
*also to note, today is a good day to start another sportsbook account if you want to earn some quick cash on moneyline or spread while starting out with a bankroll of 100$.
