    Possible wake forest edge tomorrow
i have no facts to support this, but, i think the because of the fact that the wakeforest game will be on ESPN2 tomorrow will motivate wake forest to put on a great winning game performance.

any other possible edges out there?
by the way, please don't list the guy in jail missing rio as an advantage, because he doesn't average asignificant amount of points.

I just got slammed on a pick that was listed as a huge favorite last night. UNLV who ended up losing. San Diego was supposed to be missing 3 players, but they ended up handling UNLV. Even the best researched games aren't always winners. BOL

ehh, i think this goes both ways. WF just got embarrassed by GTech and will be looking to send a message to the entire nation on ESPN. but at the same time, miami was supposed to be a sleeper this year and they have been disappointing and on the bubble so this is a perfect opportunity for them to send a message of their own.

with that said, WF is on a totally different level than miami, if the game plays like it should play out, IF AND SHOULD, then WF will win by double digits. but yeah as we all know anything can happen.

i can only hope that this game pans out, i've got about 13 units to win about 8.5-9 units at -1 and -.5 respectively.

IF wake forest stick to pounding the ball inside, and fast breaks, then they will win. If wake decides to be a jumpshooting team, then they will lose.

i have no idea what style of play miami plays, but i am going to go ahead and assume half court. and i hope wake forests' size bothers miami. the only bigger team than wake forest that i can think of is ucon.

miami is a very athletic team that seems to play one game as a jump shooting team, then the next as a fastbreak team, then the next they are playing physical down low. at least, that's what's happened in the 5 or 6 miami games i've watched this year. completely different each game.

as far as size goes, WF's 3 best rebounders are 6'9", 6'9", 7'0", while Miami's are 6'8", 6'8", and 6'9". wake has a complete advantage here as their rebounders are also big scoring contributors for them.

however, basically IMO, this game comes down to Teague vs McClinton. Whichever defense does the better job of containing each star guard will win the game. If both of them explode, WF wins with the size advantage. If Teague has a 20 pt 5 assist performance, it's game over. they need to shut him down and mcclinton needs 25 points.

mcclinton is a great scorer/shooter...explosive off the dribble...can make the runner w/ ease and can also pull up and drain it from behind the arc...i just dont think mia has enough firepower or enough depth and talent to handle wake's front court...johnson and aminu should put up solid stats tomorrow...and of course teague will get his

mcclinton is a playmaker that can go for 25+ pts on any given night but at the same time he can also go for 10 points. a lot of times he gets frustrated and settles for jumpshots but a lot of times he also makes a lot of shots as well. he can attack the basket if he wants to, the question is whether or not he will choose to do so. i think Wake has the D to stop him, but you never know. also, miami is an excellent come from behind team but Wake still needs to put these guys away early.

i read online that wake lost the georgia game due to the excessive physicality of georgia in and around the paint. will miami be causing them the same problem, or are they not a physical team, even though i'm told they are athletic.
