My guess why: people are looking at both teams' records and the last game for each team and going with Niagara. What they may not realize is......

        - Iona's leading scorer (Springer) missed six games in Dec.
        - Iona has lost six games by 2 points or less
        - With Springer in the line-up Iona beat Niagara by 6 at Niagara
        - Iona's recent loss was probably due to the emotional let-down from the previous game where the lost by one point on the road to the best team in the MAAC (Siena). They took Saint Peter's for granted, don't count on that happening vs Niagara.
        - That Iona is 10-2 ATS vs teams with a wining record
        - That one of Niagara's leading scorers (Nelson) is out
        - That Niagara is 2-4 ATS with one or less day's rest.
        - That Iona is 5-2 ATS with one or less day's rest

etc, etc, etc........I could keep going on.

Having said all that, Niagara could very well win. That's why it's gambling. Good luck.

We'll have a pretty good indication of Iona by halftime:

Iona is 7-1 SU when leading at the half.
Iona is 3-11 SU when they don't.
