Providence first half

Honestly I weigh a few factors...first I look at home court and the overall line. If the overall line for the full game is low, I usually go with the first half line for that home team only because its supposed to be a close game (according to the small point spread), and the home team usually comes out revved up in those situations. Now, if it is a point spread that is big, for full game, I usually go opposite and take the away team, with the idea that the home team will not be as pumped up early on. However, on that side though, I also weigh the other factors with a big spread such as stats for the home team etc.

Alright...1-2 tonight thanks to losing by a half point on the providence first half line, and an AWFUL performance by my home team pitt (should have known not to bet with my heart). Thank goodness I got that second half line bet with Kansas. Right now I am down 427.00. I am looking to make up some ground..any ideas on first and second half lines on games left guys?
