CK's Carjacking the NCAA Threads Monday 1/25/09

That's not good rational thinking. Remember how everyone was trashing Boston after the Cleveland game, and I had said BEFORE the game, that no matter if Boston looses this game or not, I am going to start buying them now that there stock is low. Don't you know that I have not losta quarter or a half bet or a game bet with them since that moment. I know that G-Town is gonna turn it around, and after three straight conference losses they are actually right where we need them to be despite the horrid loss to Seton Hall. I'm gonna buy them while their stock is low and I've taken a hit. What's that thing called, a straddle option? that's what i am gonna pull out on the Hoyas. I am taking them again on Wednesday look forward to that. i have been doing this thing for years. I have the memory of a cornerback.

So what we lost with Georgetown in their last game. Sometimes your success takes a shot at you. We had a good week. We just have to make an appearance and show that we aren't dead and all will be back to normal.

I hear you loud and clear, and I watched all along the way when you pointed out the recent Boston slide and your intention to ride them. Nice work. I hope it works out similar for G'town, but I will wait to see them prove it on the court before I risk anything on those guys unless the linesmakers are unfairly setting the line, which I doubt, as G'town is a "name brand" in college hoops, so if anything they will continue to be overvalued.

I don't need to buy the stock at the very bottom, only hop on and ride the trend while it finally comes back around.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to yo on it, but I am fully vested for the evening. I am kind of kicking back and taking it easy. I like my pick Manhattan-1, and I am trying to not take on too many games as I am learning that I have a responsibility to cut down on the plays that I play over here, because there are some giants on this side that I need to take out, and so I have to be sharp with my rotations. I hope that the pick works out for you and the line movement is good on it for you to cash the ticket.

Yes, the Hoyas have been stinking it up big time of late... that performance against Hall was undeniably putrid. They have now dropped three straight, and to add to CK's 3-straight-loss "rule," the last time G'Town lost MORE than 3 games in a row was JTIII's first season as coach back in 2004-05, when they finished the regular season with 5 consecutive losses. That caused them to miss the Big Dance, but they have made it in the three years since. I don't see coach Thompson's team, with tourney-experienced players like Summers, Sapp, and Freeman, losing a fourth in a row. In fact, I think they will make kittens out of the Bearcats on Wednesday, as they have dominated them in recent years, winning by 20, 10, 15, and 19, in their last 4 meetings overall. They were ahead at the half by at least 5 in each as well.

Hoyas will roll, and show the rest of the country that they do, in fact, warrant their Top 25 ranking.

Dex I think the Nets are a safer play than the Blazers based on my capping in my opinion, and I am curious why you are big on Portland tonight. Unfortunately I have the Clips/Blazers capped right at 10 pts and that made me look elsewhere for plays tonight.

Another comment about the general information sharing here on SBR that is on my mind. Some cappers like to be right on the biggest matchups. Others pride themselves on knowing the most about obscure teams and conferences. To me, a win is a win and we all have the same mission, to get P-A-I-D! the revenge angle is what i'm really leaning on in this one. the clippers won on the blazers home court on 12/12 by 8 (thats embarassing for a solid home team like port), and now the blazers catch a depleted clipper team on a btb (3-6 ats) with travel involved. it looks like the sucker bet of the day, but i'm usually never on road favorites like this - i feel the blazers pull away in the 2nd half after beating up the clippers with second chance points (no camby, kaman and baron davis)

the line has moved from 9.5 to 10.5 with the public on port at 63% - so the line is doing what it should.

Sorry but I don't understand this at all. Machine Choice has been posting his picks for a while now(for free) and that's all, just his picks. He has a great run going. Why do you feel the need to go onto "his thread" and issue some sort of challenge. Does the sbr forum belong to you or is it open? Just let the guy be. Who cares what he does if he's winning. If it's a service, great, with a record like that I may sign up.

He won't admit it's a service. He owes his insurance payment, and he's on the clock. I didn't expect to be everone's favorite by doing what I'm doing. It's all about acquisition. I was told that there were some good guys here on these threads and everyone else checked out but him. I find it hard to believe that everyone can have a ton of questions for JohnMorr08 when he TELLS everyone about his system that he has bought, and then no one has any questions for Machine about the system that he has bought. John Morr went gray trying to explain what he was doing, and that's how you know he was sincere. This Machine guy has not said one word as to WHY he is playing what he is playing, and that alone tells me that he is not genuine. The geuine guys like me JohnMorr answer questions because we sponsor our own picks. This guy doesn't answer questions about his picks because they aren't his. I'm not bashing the guy, I'm just taking what's mine from his. Nothing bad about that.


LT Profits went onto JohnMorr's thread and blasted him for days on end about "kelly" versus the system. And I went to JohnMorr's thread and expressed my views about it too. It's free enterprise. If you have a problem with the going's on, then you can comment on it. I have no quarrel with you. But you can also make a comment on his page as well.

I bring a lot of customers to SBR so I am sure that they aren't going to say that i am not an asset. And if you need his picks you don't have to go to his page anymore. I'm serving them here. So if you don't want them then ignore the entry. But I'm doing this for you.. flav-o baaybeee! I don't understand why you're so upset when you can get these picks here along with all of the other information contained here. Hell I used to see my picks ALL over the place in different threads on the NBA pages. What's so different about what i'm doing other than it being gorilla. He either give us the picks he owes us for insurance or shut down for business.

Love Marquette tonight. They have owned ND as of the past few years and are playing real good ball. Have a great 3-guard tandom and they have been shooting well the past few games on the road. I think ND is in a slump and ride too much on Harongody's shoulders. I took Marquette!

I also like Oklahoma. they are a beast with the griffin twins and have been on a tear lately. I think -3 is a gift, even if they are away. This game will be a blowout and I expect the twins to rule the paiint. I am taking OU BIG!
