I think this line is wrong. I have been watching Duke almost every game and I am not impressed. They have had a lot of close wins this year, against some mediocre teams. Georgetown is building confidence with each game and looked REAL GOOD against Syracuse the other night. I know in CBB, the home court is very important and has a lot to do with the line. BUT i think this one is to much. Give me Gtown +9 BIG! Hopefully they play the same as they did against SU. They have the potential to win this game outright.

IDK, I guess it depends on what you mean by close. They've won on the road in the ACC, not always an easy thing to do. They had Davidson down by 25 before they took their foot off the accelerator. They beat a pretty good Xavier team by almost 20. And took a pretty good Purdue team to the woodshed on the road.

Duke is very good at home. They don't lose many non-conference games in Cameron and this will only be Georgetown's third road game of the season (1-1 - win vs. UConn, Loss vs. ND).

Now, Duke is a very public team and because of that the line is probably inflated by a point or two. Neither team has been terribly good ATS this season. (Georgetown 6-5 ATS Duke 9-6 ATS)

Georgetown may be "too athletic" for Duke to defend and that could be how the Hoyas win. FWIW, I'd be pretty careful betting against Duke in Cameron - especially non-conference...

Yea I agree, they are tough at home. I just know that Gtown has looked well as of late and only getting better as a team. This is a tough game to bet on, but my gut tells me that 9 points is to much. I think what Coach K said yesterday about the ACC being far better than Big East might motivate them a little more. Not trying to start a war, but Duke hasn't played anyone good at home and looked bad against Fla St and Ga Tech the past 2 games. Watched them both.........

I an just now looking closer at CBB, but all I could say at this point is G-Town or pass.
