There is a lot of people who not only like RI to cover the spread to also to win outright. I think that is all crazy talk but I can see where they are coming from. This is either going to be a game like Baylor last night where people just thought that Baylor would steam roll over a tough opponent like Texas A&M or it is going to be like Wake where people over thought the game and got bamboozled by taking Boston College. It is not the easiest game to cap by any means but I love the X-men in this spot. BOL!Comment -
rhode island is very tough at home and let me ask all you xavier backers if the bet is xavier and the better team is xavier why they only 2 pt favorites i know there on the road but rams arent ranked and muskies are the line tells you this making easier for public to take xavier at minus 2 but the real reason why is there the populaR team but the rams are a very dangerous home team and can see them actually win this one outright but gl to everyoneComment -

Xavier is the play and I think I was the guy that created the Rhode Island madness here lol. Early in the year I had them 3-4 times and they hit most every game. Xavier is the play because they've already beaten Cincy and Virginia on the road by double digits. They've also covered their last 3 games. Rhode Island has been impressive at home but outside of VCU, they havent really faced any competition.Comment -

Beware on RI because Brandon Lange is on him with his 10 dime release today. If anyone has followed his career of late that is usually the kiss of death. That being said, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Like Powell I think that the X-men is the play here. Even though RI is tough at home Xavier is by far the better team and deeper bench. Im not touching this one...this seems like one of those games that everyone's on and then it goes nothing like they thought (i.e. RI gets housed) so if they win then fine but I'll feel better not playing.
