Wow, what an ugly game. Hofstra has put up 18 points at the half. Shooting 21% from the field; 0-3 from beyond the arc. Thats hilarious.

Hofstra is EXTREMELY inconsistent. All depends on which Hofstra team decides to show up. I wonder if they do serious drugs and sometimes they show up stoned and other times they show up sober.

I have bet against this stupid team before and they blew out some top ranked team, then bet with them and they get blown out by a scrub team.

I do like Drexel though.

I just took Hofstra for the 128 man tournament. Going by the numbers it looked like a gift, accuscore even had them winning by 7. I won't be picking teams I don't know just on numbers anymore.

Accuscore? I have looked at that before, didn't find it very accurate. My top 10 picks using the pythag and log5 formula went 7-3. The top 20 went 14-6 and 6 of those were ML dogs. One was a +700 dog. Going past the top 20 doesn't pay off.

Usually there are a few junk teams in these pythag/log5 picks which can be filtered out.

Today, these teams were questionable: Rutgers, Eastern Kentucky, and Houston. They all lost. I don't know enough about them to disregard the formula. But when I looked over their strength of schedule, they really haven't played anyone.

I would like to work with someone who could add filters to the pythag/log5 picks to throw out the junk, so far I am going this alone.
