The Dragons are currently on a five-match winning streak and sitting pretty on top of the NBL ladder, but the Crocs are sure to give them a good run for their money.
In two previous encounters already this season we have seen two tight encounters between these two teams (series currently tied 1-1) and another similar scoreline should be expected here.
While the Crocs may have lost three on the trot, they really need a win here to maintain their spot inside the top six and are sure to lift for the clash.
Star import Corey Williams and sharp shooting guard Brad Williamson have been the two Crocs players that have hurt the Dragons in their previous matches and the duo will once again be important.
Williams will be matched up against the underrated Adam Gibson, while Williamson is sure to have Joe Ingles and Rhys Carter hounding him throughout.
The Crocs three-point shooting statistics haven't been good in the past month, but we do know that they have the firepower to shoot the lights out on any given occasion.
Along with Williamson, Michael Cedar, John Rillie and Kelvin Robertson are all capable of hitting from beyond the arc and the Dragons will need to ensure their perimeter defence is solid.
At the offensive end, the Dragons will attempt to post-up skipper Mark Worthington and import Tremmell Darden, who hurt the Crocs last time out.
Because of the Crocs lack of height, the Dragons looked to Darden last time these two teams met and the American used his athleticism to score at will.
The Dragons are a well drilled team and have many scoring options, but the Crocs might just be ready to surprise in this clash and can cause an upset.
