Lay the chalk with USC (-25)
I have watched both teams play numerous teams and USC is the far superior team talent wise. Despite what you might think about USC being overrated at this point in the season, Pepperdine is nowhere in their league. Taj Gibson and Leonard Washington should both easily get double doubles tomorrow against Pepperdine's pair of frontcourt freshman. Pepperdine has no low post presence whatsoever. Daniel Hackett, Dwight Lewis, and Demar DeRozan are much better than what Pepperdine has in Rico Tucker, Mike Hornbuckle, and Mychel Thompson. The Waves do have some promising young talent but this is just not their year. Both teams have played two common opponents this year: New Mexico State and UC Irvine. Pepperdine lost by 24 to the Aggies, while the Trojans won by 13. The Anteaters fell to USC by 23 points and Pepperdine lost by 8 at home to UC Irvine. I really don't see any reason why not to take USC.This game has blowout written all over it. Pepperdine MIGHT hang around for a half, but they usually fade in the 2nd half of ballgames (as I have noticed so far). Good luck to all that follow
