Lines just came out and they have Creighton-6

This really shocks me. This young Creighton team has been struggling this year. Dayton is a good team and Creighton has no answer to Dayton's big man. I really thought Dayton would be favored in this game.

My pick is Dayton+6 unless they completely melt down in front of a rowdy crowd of 17,000 they shoud win or atleast have a chance to win at the end.

My knowledge is strickly with the Big 12 and Missouri Valley.

I was thinking the same thing. Creighton should be like a 2-3 pt fav but they are 6 to 6.5 fav. Seems like the line makers are trying to make everybody pound Dayton. This is also Dayton's first true road game outside of Ohio.

Bodog has Dayton at +7? Dayton is 8-0 and they've already beat a ranked Marquette team in Chicago by 14! Creighton is a solid program but Dayton is no joke! They won 23 games last year and play 10 deep so they're not going to get worn down late!
Sometimes the public is right but somebody has to be on Creighton to push the line up to 7? Have to play Dayton ML as well!

My only concern about this game is that Dayton has not played in front of a hostile crowd of this size yet this year. The Marquette game was not at Marquette...... right? Akron had about 4000 fans at the game.... Creighton will have about 17,000 tonight.

#1 Dont bet AGAINST your home town team if you are going to the game. Totally makes the game unenjoyable! lol

Dayton looked good early... then it seemed like the crowd really got to them. I thought they MIGHT be able to come back when they cut the 20 point lead down to 10..... but NOPE!

Creighton was 13-25 3 pointers! 52%
Dayton was 60% at the free throw line.

That definately did not help us.
I was starting to worry about the bet when they kept talking about how this was a MUST win for Creighton to impress the committee for the tournament. This was their last shot for a "quality win" before conference play starts.
Oh well.
