5-5 so far this week, but I still have a lot of games that look like winners going right now. For some reason I played a lot of favorites, but I think some of these home teams are pretty bad and that is the reason for the spread being as close as it is. Maryland (-3) against George Washington? This isn't GW of the past and Florida (-2) against Florida State? Florida has played competiton while Florida State has only played Cincy and Cal who are both a tad overrated. Oklahoma is -6 coming into Tulsa. I originally didn't want to play OU because they seem to never cover these kind of spreads, but I think Oklahoma will eventually pull away from Tulsa. I know I'll catch some flak for this, but I like Oregon -2 at home against Kansas State. K-State just doesn't strike me as a good road team and Oregon has played like 1 game at home so far this year. Oregon is 3-4 but losses to UNC, Texas, and @ Utah are fine. They lost to Oakland in overtime, but it was early in the year. I've been riding Niagara for a while now and I like them -5 at Loyola Maryland. LM couldn't beat Siena at home and I believe Niagara is at least that good. Niagara is 5-1 ATS this year and Loyola is 2-6 SU this year and only one of those losses were by less than 7 points. I have Canisus on the card right now at -2, but honestly I'll probably change my mind later. I dont know if I can give points with these guys on the road. I know St Peters is awful, but there has to be better plays on the board. Not much to talk about in this game because Canisus is the better team, but you never know about bad teams like these 2. Lastly I have Iona +4 on the road against Fairfield. A lot of people seem to be high on Fairfield this year, but Iona is always a tough game for teams. Fairfield has played VERY tough teams badly and beat cupcakes pretty bad. Iona played Wisconsin into overtime on the road and took Southern Miss to the edge by only losing by 1 point. I like Iona and the points here because they will be in the game at the end more than likely.
