Ppl said the same thing about Ark State on Monday as a +3.5 favorite and they won outright. I am going to take the gift. If it doesn't work, so be it.

EaglesPhan...i understand what ur trying to say but its hard to lay off a team that should have beat Duke AT CAMERON INDOOR STADIUM and has one of the best shooters in college bball...granted....Northeastern beat Providence at Providence but who isn't beating Providence these days??With all that said...RI has played superior competition and is playing the best ball....gl to all

agreed i went big on uri barron almost beat duke by himself, northeastern lost to BU at home by 8! come on now uri is far superior

Providence actually has played decently. They lost to a very good St.Mary's team by 6. Again I'm not saying Rhode Island won't win, as I said earlier - I had them as a pick for today. But with too many SBRers on this & this is probably going to be the first team to try and slow Rhode Island's pace. Or at least, that's my guess. It's not quite as easy as it looks.

The dreaded SBR Jinx huh?lol....see my thing is...last night i over thought things and didn't just go with who has the better team with experience and missed out on Duke at +2 because i thought it was too good to be true..there are always gifts given out on a daily basis...its just a matter of recognizing them and taking advantage...

We'll see how it goes man. Your Duke one yesterday wasn't quite the consensus this one is. I just know I've gotten burned on 3 or 4 picks earlier this season that were "jinx" picks. It seems stupid I know, but the damn thing is uncanny. Look at Western Kentucky last night. 4 points when most people had a 4.5 point line and thought that was a gimme.

Hope it hits because most of the board is on it, so it'd be nice to hit the books hard on it. GL!

those jinx picks....no doubt..."uncanny" is quite accurate to describe it for sure..see..basketball is sooo tough to handicap! Who would've thought the lake show would've blown a 15 pt lead last night in the 4th quarter. A missed free throw here or there and you find yourself on the verge of pulling a plaxico and shooting yourself....goooooo Baron and RI

Northeastern returned all 5 starters and are a solid team, but Rhode Island has played great all year. Rhode Island is the play IMO, I've rode them all year and they havent ****ed me yet

No doubt...Northeastern has a stud who can shoot the rock too by the name of Matt Janning who lit up URI last year for 34....however...despite the 34 points from him...Northeastern still lost the game by 20 points!!
