    is it purely coincidence?
so many games are total blowouts in the first halfs
and then either close or the losing team actually outscores the winning team in the second half
it makes you pretty leery of wanting to pound a second half like say northwestern right now is up 18 at the half and
the second half line is ONLY 5-1/2

    seems like a no brainer-but
    if it looks too easy?

why dont they make a game like this nw -a bigger number say 15 second half?
    too easy to middle then?

anybody think the second halfs of blowout games are fixed?

they are up 18....if u take them in the 2nd half u are taking them at -23.5 when they spread is 14. There is absolute zero value there. Can it happen? Absolutely, but when playing 2nd halfs i like taking a big favorite who only won the first half by a few. For example Texas was up like 7 on rice the other day and the 2nd half was -13 so that right there gives u almost ten points off the spread.

      yep- i hear that
i had rice also 2h that game
but it just seems if a team dominates so much in the first half they should at least resemble that in the 2nd half
i realize there is 0 value compared to the opening line
