UC Davis is a bottom feeder in the Big West, which might be the weakest conference in the country. Curious as to why you think they can travel halfway across the country and hang around against a decent SEC team playing at home??

Seriously considering taking ARK big here, so could use any insight you might have.

I live in Arkansas and they are not a decent SEC team this year. They are projected to finish last in the SEC by every magazine and even the sportswriters in the area. I do not know much about UC Davis however and will just be avoiding this game altogether.

I agree, Arkansas is the worst team in the SEC this year and probably only wins 3 or 4 conference games. But you've got to ask yourself, if UC Davis played in the SEC how many games would they win? I don't think they would win any considering they are a .500 team at best in the Big West with the likes of UC Irvine, UC Riverside, CS Northridge etc.

Arkansas is young but they do have a freshman recruiting class this year that ranks in the Top 20 on most polls.

Finally a winning night in college hoops.

uxler- Sorry I couldn't respond to your question all day, was very busy and was nowhere near a computer till just now. The reasoning for the play was simply that 13 was too much for a bad Arkansas team to be laying, even against a team like UC-Davis.
