Themajormt Season Long College Baskets

Went 4-0 yesterday and posted the picks in my UB thread but for comparison purposes I will start at 0-0. My strategy for college hoops is to bet the smaller conferences and try to follow a few of the conferences every night. BUT, early on I always pound the big preseason ranked teams because they typically start out a lot faster than the sleeper teams... Insight is GREATLY appreciated, I am not stubborn by any means and definitely like to contemplate games with others and hope to come to an agreement so we all make money...

I am leaning towards:

Kent St PK (top play): They won 25 games last year, are returning a good portion of that team, BLEW out St.Louis by 40 last year, and looks like theyre starting where they left off with a very lopsided win to start season...


Illi-Chi -6:
Nebraska -3 (buy)
Niagara +18.5
Clemson -22.5
Murray State +1 or ML

I would like to narrow these down to 3 or 4 at the most... I think Kent and Illi-Chi are definite plays as of now. Any input would be much appreciated!

On a few with you. I took X instead of Missou but we both pushed. But Mizzou should of covered. But it happens. I am also on memphis at+22.5. There run and gun fast tempo offense is whats going to win them games this year. Memphis will cover 22.5. 34 points is alot to cover and I usually dont like laying that many points but lets be serious, North Florida Ospreys? They lose to savannah state by 15. Byu should cover but it may be a last minute play for me. Im thinking about taking Over 131.5 in that game. BYU will get 90 and tht means all North Forida has to do is get 42 points. I havent looked at the Iowa game yet but am leaning towards them also.

Good point on the BYU total... if I think BYU covers the game should definitely go over... Its moved DOWN a point, but I think I may play it, regardless of the line move.

I think the Ospreys only score 40-45 tonight. BYU can really play lockdown defense... especially at home. NFla only scored 60 @ Savannah St. (Who isn't exactly a defensive powerhouse).

Have you noticed how close these lines have come in a lot of these games? I half/whole point here and there can really hurt if you're on the wrong side. I am definitely going to make it a point to get my capping done the night before so I can get the plays in right away in the morning before the line movement...

Ah it is amazing how the lines are so close to the result of the game. Especially football.

Note: I am biased to the Big East, but I did have 1/4 unit ML play on the Hall when they upset USC so I am riding their winnings and hoping the can control Memphis. If Seton Hall shoots 42-50% in this game I think they win or within 6 or 7 points.
