What happened? I fell asleep, had work very early today, had zona for the half and needed zona as the 4th winner in a 4 team parlay to win $500, they were down by 11 or 13 w/ 9 min left, considered both a loss and shut it off.
these kids were OBVIOUSLY paid off... Nobody is that stupid

Or the simpler explanation: Fogg just ****ed up because he's a freshman and lost track of the score. Then second guy (Horne?) lost track of time and thought there were three more seconds on the clock (6.5 seconds instead of 3 seconds is a huge difference). Didn't want a breakaway dunk to end the game and thought Arizona had a chance to get the ball back if he fouled.
There have been plenty of instances of games being fixed or shady business at the end of games... I don't think this was one of those instances.

It just shows you how stupid 99.9 percent of the population is that these games are just student athletes each trying their hardest for their schools. This was the worst fix job ever, I missed the game but when I saw the highlights knowing all these games are rigged I pissed my pants. This was the funniest shit I have ever seen. The funniest part is the American public is to f'n stupid to realize that this and every game, match or even spelling bee is fixed ahead of time to where the books are going to make the most money. Dumb asses out there who think "oh this is a freshmen mistake" I love the Arizona fans in the background who are so damn clueless and have no idea how the game is really played. But I guess I need those simple simons out there to keep more loot coming into me.

If you've been betting against the "simple simons" then you've been losing a lot of money thus far this season. A majority of my plays are fades against public consensus (ie "Lock" picks) and im hitting 25% and down 30 units in 3 days. Nice logic though

This kids are point shaving, and from somebody who has been through it, this is the perfect spot for it.
This accusation doesnt make any sense:
The line on the UAB game was +5. So the two fouls, especially the last one dont make much sense to say that these guys were shaving points. If anything the two fouls were a detriment to UAB covering the spread because Zona would get the ball back with more time left this way. Further, why would a player looking to point shave draw a foul with one second left even when the UAB spread is already covered. These seem like legit mistakes to me.
Now if you want to make an argument that these guys were throwing a game then id listen but this isnt point shaving.

oh yeah they were paid off to lose the game, no shaving points on this one, they had to make sure they lost that game. My question always is what would they have done if the shot to put Arizona up accidently went in?

In point shaving, you don't pay off the whole team just a couple players. I'm not completely sold that the first guy's foul was part of it, but the 2nd one it is very obvious.
