Since NHL will probably be locked out this season, let us turn our attention to 2nd best ice-hockey league.

First game is the repeat of last year's final:

Dynamo Moscow vs Avangard Omsk

Should be low scoring event, because both teams have great defence, but this is the first game and you never know how things may go.
What is pretty sure is that Omsk will win this. They got beaten in the finals so they have some motivation of payback. And Moscow is a slow starter so nobody expects them to get wins.

Great odds for Omsk 3-way win because of playing in Moscow, but in the beginning of the season it's better to start away.

Amur is always strong at home and today they have a nice chance to claim more points against poor Torpedo who really have looked terrible. Small bet here on home team especially because they lost their last game.

Yekaterinburg surprised everyone with their win against Magnitagorsk. For that I give them a little credit in winning here as well. Besides, Tractor was not that convincing.

AK Bars - Vitjaz

At the start of the season there is always plenty of unreal results like Vitjaz beating Salavat on their ice. Moreover Vitjaz kept their winning streak in Niznekamsk. I dont know why they shouldn't snatch a point or 2 from AK Bars.

This is for me bet of the day! CSKA is not even close to what they are capable of. This is a tough matchup for them. I think Riga can easily win this, but +0.5 is the best pick here.

Slovan - Spartak

Slovan has proved to be the worst team at the moment while Spartak has taken maximum out of the 2 first games. But the main thing here is the superior defense which should lead Spartak to another win.

Dynamo started well this season winning all 3 home games. As for Magnitagorsk its a different story - 2 misarable losses but those were away games.
At home it will be easier, but Dynamo is a hard and tough team so i thnk it will be defensive game with less then 5 goals. And Dynamo should clich it.

Ufa has some defense problems and they can only compensate them with offense. This is a must over game for them to succeed. Hopefully Omsk will not turn on their defense which is impressive.

Tractor - SKA >>

In first 2 games Tractor showed what are their intentions for this season. No goals conceded still. I think SKA will score, but on home ice Tractor should get another win.
