    Light The Lamp: 10.30
7-2 thus far for Light The Lamp. You can see the avalanche of losses coming, but you just can't help yourself.

    Penguins/Coyotes UNDER 5.5 (-140 Bookmaker)
I nearly face planted myself into my keyboard when I decided to take this one. I mean UNDERs are the play of angels, not devils like us. They're not sexy. And no one likes rooting for less offense, but don't let it bite you in the butt when it presents itself. Pittsburgh has played just 2 of 10 games that have gone with a total of more than 5 goals. 5 straight have gone under five goals and the Pens are really struggling to find consistency on the offensive end. Much of this can be attributed to a sagging PP unit that has not scored a PP goal in 3 of their last 4 games The Pens had a microscopic 11 shots on goal vs. San Jose in their last effort - 11 shots! Their PK unit has been steady so far which means Phoenix should have trouble on the man advantage if they get there. The Pens have 5 clean sheets on the PK in 10 games and have only given up more than one PP Goal in a game, once this season. The Coyotes PP unit has been anemic, missing out in 3 straight games. The PK unit has been a little leaky lately with PP goals allowed in three straight. Overall, though Phoenix totals have been under 5 goals in 5 of 7 games with all three home games staying under that number. 3 of the Pens 4 roadies have stayed under 5 goals. Don't get burned! This game should be COYOTE UGLY enough to stay into a low scoring game and put some more bill$ into your pocket!

And Daddy likes what Daddy likes for one more. Don't fade it, until it proves ya wrong.

    Islanders/Flyers OVER 5.5 (-125 Bookmaker)
I'll ride this Flyers OVER train until it derails and leaves me with bloody stumps for arms. The Flyers have been on a goal scoring spree in their last 5 games to the tune of 26 goals. Their PP unit is really clicking as well with multiple PP goal games in 3 of four, including 4 PP goals in their 7-0 route of Atlanta. That's a good thing going against an Islanders PK unit that has given up at least one opposition PP goal in 7 of 8. The Atlanta game also marked just the second time the Flyers had failed to yield a PP goal to their opponent, so the PK unit still has some questions. The Isles haven't been great on the man advantage, but do have PP goals in 6 of 8 games this season. They aren't exactly tearing it up on offense, but they have scored at least 2 goals in three straight and tonight, a similar number probably helps get this sucker over. Goaltending has been the main issue for NYI with 13 goals allowed in their last 3 games. DiPietro or not, the Flyers should find the back of the net multiple times tonight. And lest we forget I LOVE LAMP and the Flyers games LOVE OVERs - 7 of 9 games have totals of 6 or more goals and the Isles dig it too with 6 of 8 going with 6 or more goals. Don't be afraid to admit it!

Man thought we had the over cinched early after a 3 goal first and then the lid went on. Splitsville, 1-1.
