    Oilers +4000
Just threw down $50 on this. Definitely a long shot but they have so much skill up front and Schultz will help them on the back end. If they can get a couple veteran, defensive D-men this summer they could easily sneak into the playoffs and go on a run. Dubnyk is for real in goal for them too so I like them as a deep sleeper next year.

I know it's a long shot thats why I called it a deep sleeper. $50 ain't a big deal to me, so I will dream

Just look at the playoffs this year. You get in and anything can happen

Throwing cash away. you should've saved it and put it on their over/under pts, which will probably be in mid to late 80s.

Like I said boys, it's a deep sleeper and I spend $50 a week on coffee almost so not concerned if its wasted

If they add a few vets to calm the kids they could get in and from there you never know.

You can find a better line. Saw 60-1 somewhere already.

Way too young, no chance they will be able to execute against playoff hardened teams.

NHL is the toughest sport to win a championship with no playoff experience.

MLB, NFL, NBA not as big a deal. Any young team can get lucky and win, not in the NHL sorry guy.

I will be shocked if he leaves Jersey. He has always boasted about how he was a one team man and how he did everything with the same team unlike the other great goalies. He is only testing the market to get a better offer from the Devils. Brodeur will either resign with the Devils or retire. No chance of him signing with anyone else.

The majority of the team hadn't ever been past the 2nd round. They were hardly a playoff hardened team.

Let's use some examples : Brown had 12 playoff games under his belt before this year, Quick 12, and Doughty 12. The only real experienced guys were Carter, Richards and Penner all who were brought in this year. This is not a playoff hardened team at all. They came together at the right time and the stars aligned for them.

NBA you kidding me? It's the same 2 or 3 teams in the semi-finals almost every year. Baseball too. The NHL is the sport of the big 4 that any team has a shot once the post season starts. NBA 1st vs 8th seed it's 4-0, 4-1 every time.

Every place that has them, most are off the board with FA signings right now.

I'm sure you'll be able to get like 100-1 at 5dimes later.

As I st ated in free agency thread thought there was a chance he was headed to Chicago. Don't think Parise returns but at this point nothing would shock me

DET at +1500 seems like decent value. Will go down if Suter takes there deal so I'd put some on that. I also like the value on the Bruins.

Good luck DG. I was an Oilers guy for years-when you get the first pick three years in a row I've had enough...That and people like Taylor that get in a tilt and wind up breaking their own leg...Brutal but I agree with the bet logic. Dubnyk is a quality tender that has put in his time as well. Cheers
