So many good memories from one of the if not the best goalie to ever live. Hope he comes back for one more. Won't be the same without him behind the posts....

Seeing him shake hands at the hand with Quick just looked like this could be his last.

    ONE MORE MARTY!!

Would've been sweet to get this last one for Marty to go out like a champ, but when you're down 3 - 0 its pretty tough.

      I hope so too

He already has the regular season record for most losses, he needs just 4 more post season losses to pass Patrick Roy and become the goalie with most career losses regular season AND post season

      ( 3 behind Roy playing 42 less games )

marty just isn't that good anymore. honestly i would take dubnyk over brodeur at this point.

he allowed 6 goals to the La kings, in a elimination game, and he wasn't even upset about it in the least..heart isn't there anymore, neither is the performance.. great career, great goalie, i hope he enjoys the 100 million he earned by sitting between the pipes!

Marty was blessed to be playing behind a good defense during the era of clutch and grab.

If he was playing in the late 80's ( when it wasn't unusual to see totals set at 8 or more ) he would have been a goalie with an average GAA

Put him up against the worlds best ( Olympics ) and he hasn't been all world

Probably the most overrated goalie the last 10 years

Marty will be back next year. I could see him playing 2-3 more years honestly. His play has deteriorated a bit for sure but he is still a solid, competitive goalie.
