Game 1 ice was horrible.
Bouncing / rolling pucks, slow ice, all meant to slow down the superior Kings team speed and finesse.
Slow ice / choppy ice slows down the Kings and negates their better passing / stick handling.
Laying the ice down late, turning up the building temp a few degrees will easily create bad ice.
I see the Devils trying this ploy again in game 2
