Ilya Kovalchuk has felt fine after missing a playoff game due to a lower-back injury.
Kovalchuk had reportedly been playing through the problem since the middle of the first round when he finally took off Game 2 of the second round. "I feel good," Kovalchuk said. "I missed that game against Philly and the doctors took care of everything and I’ve been feeling good since then." Since his return, Kovalchuk has three goals and 10 points in eight playoff contests.
