That's because underdogs in general have done very well. If you took every underdog ML you'd be up huge.

Same if you took every road team ML, obviously.

I know..I feel ya on that one. Its always tough juice on puck line and it isn't even as if I have been profiting from it. I just see here and track it fearing that the first time I bet it will go up in flames like my Nashville and St. Louis series bets...

NYR have won 3-1 twice in playoffs, Blues beat the sharks by more than 1 as well and Preds got beat by more than 1 as i remember as well.

And on a lighter note I take the +1.5 ALOT and bank on it.

Do you think the books haven't made adjustments?

Rangers + 1 1/2 = - $345

Predators + 1 1/2 = - $245

Flyers + 1 1/2 = - $315

Blues + 1 1/2 = - $320

If you bet to win say $100. You'd expose $1225 of bank roll to win $400. Books are betting you can't be perfect on these and even a 75% win percentage is basically a break even event. A bad day of say 50% would be punishment and I'm not even going to touch on empty netters.

Yes, you can pick your spots and look back at short term samples, but ~ Pucks take funny bounces and I wouldn't make this a habit.

Bottom line = Lots of risk for little reward.

Hats off if you can make this work. I'll stick to sides, totals and team totals.

Who are you taking on the + puck line tonight? Rangers +1 1/2 - $345 ? Man, you're braver than I. If the Caps are up a goal and the Rangers pull Lundqvist late , I'd be sweating beer laying that juice. gl
