What's the logic here? Kings outclassed the Blues in the regular season and looked impressive against the Canucks.

Blues have a comparable first line, comparable second line, better third, and better fourth, as good as the Kings' 4th looked vs Vancouver.
Blues have a comparable first pairing (Carlo drags them down, Petro is the best player in the series), better 2nd pairing (even though I love Mitchell for the Kings), and better third pair.
Goaltending is a wash. Both Elliot and Quick are overrated.
Blues also have home ice, which lets them get their preferred matchups. In a series that will rely heavily on matchups (more so than any other 2 teams, except Nashville) this is the biggest advantage.Comment
