Do I hedge my Flyer's series bet?
Part of me says hedging is just flushing money down the toilet but another part says momentum can switch fast. Pittsburgh looked great plus they get back Neal a 40 goal scorer and they are almost due to beat Philly in Pittsburgh because Philly has won there so many times. Plus if Pittsburgh wins the pressure switches to the Flyers who are a very young team in a city that is sometimes known to blow things out of proportion. I have the Fly guys at +200 500 to win 1000. I didn't hedge last night only because I thought after Neal was suspended and Martin was out I figured the Pens might mail it in. I did bet the Pens over for goals scored which did cover.

You shoulda bet Pens ML as soon as you heard Martin was out.

When Flyers won game 3, I made a 50$ bet on Pens to win the cup @ +2900, at first I thought it was a generous donation to the bookies, but now Im thinking if they win this one 4-3, and if the flower starts to bloom, they might actually win the cup!

Problem with that is Pens will be at home and probably something like -175 IF it gets that far. I will have to see what the new series line is when it comes out.

i think last night was the night to hedge if you wanted to early. flyers coulda lost and it still woulda been 3-1, which we have now, and you still would have been in fine shape. i would just ride it out at this point costly to hedge from here out, except for game 6, but i dont see how you could like to see a 7th game.

You could hedge by betting pens ml in game 6...odds would be better and you could win both if flyers win in 7

I wouldnt hedge unless the pens win game 5, I'm a huge pens fan but I dont think they have the momentum yet. Nhl teams always struggle sweeping a team in playoffs, play the odds and that being said the odds are in your favor they dont even get to a game 7

I don't like conspiracies but something tells me that an NHL desperate for new fans will want this series prolonged for as long as possible. I think we'll see at least a game 6.

Why would you hedge. You made a great bet to begin with.... let it ride

I would hedge for sure. This series has turned dramatically, Pittsburgh winning 4 straight was never out of the question.

Don't hedge yet. If Pens win tonight then hedge. You will still get a +200ish number and with your original Flyers bet at +$ you guarantee yourself profit.
