It seems like the biggest favorites lose every night in the NHL. Or at least when I bet them.

it's unlikely that the blues will come back. When you're playing catch up to a team like the BJs there's something wrong.

realistically, I think next goal wins this game... if goes to a tie, then Blues got 4 losses all year at home... they'll most likely eek it out

anybody got stats on Blues trailing going into 3rd at home?

last 10 games really haven't even been close to that

-300 means blues likely tie the game up. the books aren't expecting CBJ to score 2 unanswered..like..really

Backes but not a superstar obviously. I think they have the team built in a way that will bode well in the playoffs. Goal tending and defense can go a long way....

There are a lot of good players on STL, none of them are truly great yet. But hockey is a team sport and 2-3 lines of spread offense is as good if not better than a amazing top line, like LA or SJ.

Plus, you can't really question the terrific production out of Pietrangelo and Shattenkirk on defense. An injury prone MacDonald is posting nearly PPG numbers. Plus, Backes, Perron, and Oshie are all going to be very strong players but currently are good enough to provide solid offensive production. You throw in a couple other guys like Arnott and Berglund, and then mediocre streaky players like Steen and Stewart and you have yourself a pretty solid mixed bag of offense. They got rid of Elliot but he was a big reason for their success so it'll be interesting to see how they do riding only Halak, though his numbers haven't been bad.

Point is to say CBJ is a better team is fukking retarded, pal.

I love betting 3/1 dogs, but the late move at Pinnacle (late money came in on the blues) meant I couldn't get a competitive price, so I passed.
