    1 loss from Game over
10 days ago I was paid some money back in taxes.. 5 grand to be exact.
I always been betting on 1 game every night, where I choose which one I feel most safe. I threw 500 $ a game, and I went 8-0 and made around 4500$...

Then 2 days ago, I saw Detroit was going to Columbus after whooping them 7-2.. I thought, oh well.. I might as well just put 5k on this one, and take a nice break.. Well.. I shouldn't have done so.. Detroit ruined 8 days of perfection and made me -500$ ...

But a little voice in my head said, don't worry mate.. The Penguins are here to save your sorry ass.. They should be burning to revenge the loss against the silly Islanders..

So I threw 5 grand on the Penguins yesterday, thinking it would erase the bad feeling about loosing 8 days in 1 night.. Well... As you know.. The Penguins gave ME a financial whooping..

Buuut.. 3 always been my lucky number, so I will spend 5k of my own hard earned money, in the believe of I won't fail 3 times in a row..

So I've been looking at tonights match-ups, and I'm not sure which game to go with.

My 5k bet favorite is LA Kings ML.

And is probably also the one I go with, when Quick is confirmed.

But I'd like to hear your opinions.. If you had to make a 5k bet tonight, which match-up would you choose?

Sorry to hear but this why all gamblers lose. Think about it can you really afford another 5K LOSS. I mean you will be kicking yourself if LA wins, but what if LA losses, where does it leave you?

Why not just split it - its enough to bet a substantial amount per game.

As for the game I don't really like anything tomorrow. Edmonton is no joke. They are coming off a loss, opened a home game stand (loss the first). LA could win but seems like a toss up.

If this is it for you... then why not just play it out properly instead of one and done?

Keep us posted with what you choose...might be a good fade. No offense, but this kind of bet always loses.

        Carolina

Winnipeg is pretty much out of the playoffs and out of gas losing their last three. They arent good on the road while Carolinas a respectable 19-13 at home back from a road trip. I expect the Jets to mail it in tonight.

Also, your story is exactly that of a degenerate gambler. Save your money

Money is not really a problem for me, so a loss would mean nothing but a sad smiley really, but still I'm not interested in giving away my money to the bookies, so I am pretty sure I will catch a winner tonight.

Anyways I have decided to go with the Rangers in reg, as Lundqvist is confirmed, and I seen some solid play from them recently, and a win tonight, would make NY go crazy, and the Habs are pretty stinky on the road imo.

5k planted on the NY Rangers to win in regulation.

So tonight, I'll be cheering for my Rangers.

After Montreal cleaned house yesterday, I would not be surprised if they came out and play some inspired hockey tonight. The last 4 meetings in New York have been split 2-2. Being a Habs fan, I'm rooting for NYR to win, because I want the best possible draft pick, but I have this weird feeling about this game. This is just one of those games I can see us playing well and winning, especially after what was done yesterday in Montreal.

                Regardless, GL on your play!
