Buffalo's youngest line of Stafford, Ennis, and Foligno is one of the hottest in the league in the past 6 or 7 games and provides the resiliency and heart that Buffalo will need tomorrow night in Washington.
I made sure to watch Washington's most recent game at home vs Minnesota. Minny was on a B2B (after playing Buffalo) and the Caps (like most times this year), did not impress me at all. Ovechkin is hot scoring 9 goals in his last 6 games, but most of the players on the roster are just going through the motions. Took them 1.5 periods to score their first goal against a tired Minnesota team but they did take care of business 3-0.
Buffalo beat Washington 5-1 and 4-2 at home and lost 3-1 on the road.
Tied in the standings with 6 games left, I'll take the team who is the 2nd hottest in the league only to Pittsburgh since Feb 14 and has the hottest goalie in that time. I don't have to question Buffalo's will power during this game and you can not say the same for Washington.
