If Penguins get solid goaltending, they are my favorite. They are simply playing exellent.

PIT is pretty obvious, West is a semi-toss up. I think CHI makes it out, VAN and DET could also be there, even with there recent struggles. STL will have problem getting timely scoring in the playoffs IMO. But I did take PIT-CHI and PIT-STL to make the finals just before Crosby came back

Gotta be the Pens right now they are in gang rape mode these days. Scoring 4+ every game.

I think the more physical teams have the edge in the playoffs.
I was watching the NHL channel last weekend and whoever it was both guys picked NYR vs BOS in the east final.....I don't know how they didn't pick the pens! They have been playing out of their minds even before Crosby came back! Malkin wins MVP without a doubt!

i put like $10 earlier in the year on 4 teams and Pens were one of them. Odds was crazy and if they win i get a solid amount out of them and just bet only $10..lol

I'd say Fleury is also a candidate for MVP

Preds in the West..Now that we have Radulov back from KHL.

canucks are the clear favorite to come out of the west. this is the first year in a while where the team coming out of the east will have had to play multiple tough rounds.

totally agree ^
Canucks should come out of the West, and whoever gets out of the east will likely be beat up more with more physical games in the east, and some nasty rivalries, just speculation though.

I hope San Jose gets to play the Blues and wins. Nice odds there possibly.

No way, he isn't even a top 5 goalie right now and probably reason Penguins don't make it to the cup. Going to be awfully tough to beat Philly, then Boston and NYR which Pens will most likely have to do.

Any team can win its who gets hot and plays well. Pitt played incredible last month. Boston played incredible in november they didnt lose a game all month! they went like 14-0-2 or something like that if I remember. They were looking pretty unstoppable then before they hit this lul in January/feb. Great goaltending is pretty key this time of year. I am just so looking forward to playoff hockey! There is nothing better!
