As usual. They hype it up here in Canada for a week then the day long trade deadline show is perhaps the most boring TV event of all time.

Hodgson trade totally caught me off guard. Was kinda pissed at first but we get a power forward we badly need. Hope it works out for both teams.

We need some grit but we need a skilled Center much worse. I think in the end it will but a good trade for both sides.

Same, mostly because I couldn't remember much about Kassian.

Really sucks to see a stud like Cody go, but the Canucks did have a surplus of centres and skill.

Gilllis pulled off Higgins and Lappy last year, which turned out great, so hopefully these trades will do the same.

Won't know if this trade was a good idea until June onwards
