Hurt my parlay payout quite a bit, but still nice odds. Just a tester parlay using some new db #'s trying to win $20...almost worked

Not sure you have to write em off completely, just don't go overboard. Even a two team play like PHI O5.5 and Kings U5 has a nice payout and statistically is pretty likely. I've made a lot off of some strategically placed parlays.

Push means you don't win or lose, you "tied" and you get your money back.

That's why there is usually a bit more juice on the O/U5 as opposed to the O/U5.5. When you bet O/U5.5, you don't get the chance to get your money back.

That is a nice way of thinking about it though

... maybe because you prob have three options (three way): "under 5 goals", "exactly 5 goals", "over 5 goals", so if the game ends 3-2 the winning bet is "exactly 5 goals" ...

... there is also the two way bet, with "under/over 5" ... so if the match ends 3-2 you get your money back

I had a rough night doing parlays Wed night, missed a big one because of the Blues losing to the Jackets. Thinking straight up from now on, but the parlays are oh so tempting...

Parlays are very very tempting. Going to keep in my single bets until i have a bigger bankroll to make some fun bets. Been hot last two days. Check out my stats under "Meyefulls plays of the day" thread. Going to do some more studying and will be posting later.cheers
