Yesterday was a bitch... interestingly enough if we go by todays math the total for Grand salami should have been 67 making it a win. Do the bookies take away 1 point on big NHL days? then give point on small nhl days- to make sure they dont get taken advantage of?

Todays is 9 game and if you have the over it's 39 / 7 = 5.57

23 / 4 = 5.75 (feb 10)

54 / 10 = 5.4 (feb 9)

23 / 4 = 5.75 (feb 8)

66 / 12 = 5.5(feb 11)

The grand salami hits at 50% rate for the season give or take. Until the mega over run recently it was right at 50% yet the under is always chalked(so obviously people bet the under more than the over if it's obviously chalked... bookies wouldn't let the majority of bets not go unjuiced they wanna juice as much as they can if they think they can get away with it).

When do the bookies decide when to take away a point or add a point? is it based ont he amount of 5s and 5.5s on the board.

I wonder if giving and taking those half points and points here and there. Clearly this must give an edge to the casino if they can arbitrarily take away a point on a certain day because they feel the 5 totals for the day warrant it- when this isn't true.

The only reason they even put up 5s on certain teams is so they don't get stolen from. When there is a push who gets their money back? The people- people usually are on 1 side of the total of a 5 game total.... and if it more people took half points and won- the casino would lose alot of money. They need those pushes so they don't go broke with teams like the Kings going majority of unders.
