in defence of the pick, per se...i was watching game start to finish and I believe this was posted RIGHT after 1st period, when leafs were just dominating possession, shots, chances, passes, loose puck battles, hits...etc.

looked like it would be good. lost a nice chunk on TO tonight too. To me, it speaks to the controversy behind sundin's integrity as a captain. almost eerily feels like karma. leafs skating in deeper and deeper quicksand as the game progressed. yes, leaf fans will chime in with sundin nostalgia, but i was never sold on him as a "captain" in the sense of the word. and I bleed blue...
