What the hell are you talking about?...Poulin is a damn good goalie, in 12 NHL games he has a GAA of 2.57 and a save percentage of .920. In the AHL this year he had a 198 minute shutout streak (3 games and change) and has been incredible for the past month or so.

ok pattyb i see your familiar with his play. my experience is that he got left for the wolves in his 2 starts this season.

I've watched him a lot and I think he's going to be one of the better goalies in the NHL in a few years. He's still got a few things he needs to work out, mainly his first 10 minutes of a game. He usually fights off the puck for the first 5 or 6 shots, but then when he gets focused and in the game he plays very well. If he doesn't let up a goal in the first 10 minutes of tonights game, I think the Isles will win.

haha I am sure they will try and come out strong, not only does Poulin struggle early in games, but the Isles as a team do too. They have let up a goal on the first shot of the game nine times this year, and when the other team scores first they usually don't win (4-16-3 when they don't score first)....you gotta hope the Hurricanes score early.

I bet Carolina before goalies were announced. Canes lost tough one in Coliseum, and with Skinner back, Ward on good streak, I think they are in good shape tonight.

Not good for you so far...Isles scored first and they have done a great job of protecting Poulin in the first few minutes allowing him to get comfortable.

Nope, Harrison goes to the box twice and Isles take advantage of the man advantage once. Pretty even game, which plays to the Isles' edge with the lead.
