Lost my Boston and Detroit PL plays tonight, hit on a ML parly with both. Both games could easily have hit on the PL without an empty netter and both came damn close to getting an empty netter, frustraiting, but thems is the breaks. On to tomorrow.

Buffalo still not in a good place with injuries and Ottawa inconsistent, but definitely capable of taking this one fairly easily. Buffalo will need some breaks to win this one I think. -130 not great value, but there is a reason for that.

Blackhawks one of the top 3 teams in the league, Penquins still riddled with injuries. Big firepower ege for Blackhawks and I think the goaltending/defense advantage actually belongs to the Blackhawks right now. Only a little hesitant due to Pitt being at home and having an extra day of rest. -125 on the ML looking pretty good.

For the over this is based mainly on Brodeur not being that sharp this year. Devils seem to be clicking on offense now and in december they have had six games with 6 or more goals, two 5 goal games and 1 under 5. Just don't see either team getting shut down in this one.

Comments, concerns and especially insights welcome.

Rangers/Devils Over 5 looks good at first glance. Good Rivalry, lots of hate and potential shotty goaltending from Brodeur makes this one worth a shot. Over 5 (+100) on Pinny right now. Both should score at least 2 goals a piece for the push.

That's my thinking exactly. Can't believe I forgot my bet Vancouver at home PL or regulation and never any other time rule tonight!

How do you figure Emery is better than Fleury?

Fleury's better but his defence isn't right now.

Compare them over the last 10. There is one complete stinker for Emery giving up 7, but other than that he/Chicago defense definitely better than Pitt/Fleury. Also as to the point about rest factor being non-existent take a look at Chicago's schedule right before they lost to Edmonton 9-2. Not saying it is the only factor, but if you are capping hockey you have to take it in to consideration. Just take a look over a few teams results so far this year.

Sorry but that's a fairly small sample size. He might be playing better lately, but I'd take Fleury over emery any day.

It's a small sample size if you are talking about which player you want to have on your team, but this is about who is playing better(and it isn't just the goalies) better recently and the answer is Chicago and Emery, by a pretty wide margin. That doesn't mean they win tonight, but I think I will take my chances with them now that it has moved to -110.

Agreed; I'm firing as soon as Emery is confirmed.

My lean is still towards Chicago but I'm not going to bother taking a side here. Chicago's track record against elite Eastern Conference teams in the regular season isn't that great.

Forget the part about Seabrook, he's been confirmed to be in the lineup for tonight.

Able to get Chi on the PL at +270, playing that and Ottawa -110 parlayed with the over -110. Also played the over 5 for Rangers/Jersey and over 5.5 Islanders/Peg. Good luck everyone.
